Can I pay for my phone in installments?

Does PureTalk support free iPhone to iPhone iMessages and FaceTime calling?
iPhone to iPhone iMessages and FaceTime are supported on PureTalk. However, data is required to use these services.
Can I buy a phone from PureTalk?
Yes! You can view our phones on our website under Shop Phones.
Are calls to PureTalk free Customer Service free?
Absolutely! Just dial 611 from your PureTalk phone.
Do you slow speeds during network congestion?
No. Unlike many of our competitors, we do not practice data deprioritization.
Does usage roll over to the next month?
Good news! All of our current plans offer unlimited calls and texts as a part of one monthly service fee, therefore minutes do not roll-over as a new unlimited minutes plan is started each month.
How much does PureTalk cost?
The cost of service will depend on which plan you choose and the number of lines you
have. Currently, our plans start at $20 and go up to $55 depending on how much data you need. If you
have multiple lines on your account, you will receive a multi-line discount off your total bill.
Is usage calculated per line or is it shared on the account?
PureTalk calculates all usage per line. To view usage for each line, log into MY ACCOUNT.
Where can I buy a phone?
You can purchase a device from PureTalk Shop Phones pages or bring your own unlocked and GSM compatible phone.
Does PureTalk support Wi-Fi Calling?
We now support Wi-Fi calling on most Apple devices. Wi-Fi calling will work on most newer Android devices but cannot be guaranteed to work on all Android devices.
Is mobile hotspot feature available?
Yes! We do support mobile hotspot from your cell phone. This feature is automatically turned on for all iPhone users. However, we cannot guarantee access to this feature for all Android users and some carrier-branded phones will have this feature blocked. Android users will need to contact Customer Support at 1-877-820-7873 or dial 611 from your PureTalk phone to inquire about turning on mobile hotspot.
Will the Apple Watch work on PureTalk?
We cannot guarantee service/support for Apple Watch at this time. However, other customers have reported the GPS only version of the Apple Watch functions normally, and the GPS+Cellular version of the Apple Watch functions normally when it is near your cell phone but not at long range distance apart from your phone.
Can I use a Smart Watch for my kids with PureTalk?
We cannot guarantee service/support for Smart Watches. However, you can try our Trial SIM kit on Amazon to see if it will work for your device.
Does PureTalk price match on purchases?
PureTalk does not currently match prices on purchases or service.
Do you support international calling? If so, for how much?
We do offer international calling (within the domestic U.S.). However, international texting (SMS) is not included. You will need to contact Customer Support at 1-877-820-7873 or dial 611 from your PureTalk phone to inquire about how to purchase an International PIN. Please note, PureTalk service works in the United States only and will not work if you are visiting any other country. This means if you have the International PIN, you can call internationally while in the United States. However, if you travel to a foreign country, your phone will not work.
What speed do videos stream?
Videos stream at 1080p (HD quality).
If I am in another country, can I use PureTalk to call home to the US?
PureTalk service works in the United States only and will not work if you are visiting any other country. If you want to make a call from the US to another country, you will need to contact Customer Service to purchase an International PIN.
Can I send texts to international numbers without extra charge?
PureTalk does not offer international texting.
Can I add a tablet to my PureTalk plan?
Yes, tablets are treated the same as a phones. Just choose one of our monthly plans that is right for you.
How many lines or devices can I have on my account?
PureTalk accounts are for personal use. Feel free to bring over your whole family! You will also receive a Multi-Line discount of up to 20% of your bill.
Does PureTalk offer family plans?
We offer a Multi-Line discount of up to 20% of your bill. Customers in good standing will automatically be enrolled in the Multi-Line Discount program when 2 or more eligible lines are added to the cart. Customer must be enrolled in AutoPay to receive discount.
Can you use Internet while on phone call?
Most phones are capable of using the internet while on a phone call. However, it depends on your device.
Does PureTalk have contracts?
No, there are no contracts at PureTalk! You can cancel at any time.
Is there a discount for military personnel?
PureTalk offers a 15% discount to active duty military and Veterans. Please contact Customer Support at 1-877-820-7873 for assistance. Military/Veteran discount cannot be stacked with the Multi-Line discount. You will receive whichever discount is the greater amount.
Does PureTalk offer parental controls?
PureTalk does not currently offer parental controls.
Are there PureTalk stores?
Currently, there are no PureTalk store locations. We only offer online ordering. That's part of the reason how we can keep our prices so low!
Can I make video calls with PureTalk?
Yes, you can make video calls as long as your device allows it.
Do you offer landline services?
PureTalk is a mobile wireless service and does not offer landline services.
Where do I get a SIM card?
It's easy! Just order a SIM card on our website, puretalk.com or by calling Customer Support at 1-877-820-7873 or dial 611 from your PureTalk phone. If you are an existing customer, just log into MY ACCOUNT and choose to add a line on the plan tab.
If I get the SIM card, do you import my address book?
PureTalk does not have the capability to transfer your address book to your new device. However, if you save the information to your phone and ensure that your device is backed up, you should not lose your contacts.
How do I change my voicemail password?
You can log in to MY ACCOUNT and select the line you would like to reset the voicemail for. You can also contact Customer Support at 1-877-820-7873 or dial 611 from your PureTalk phone.
Do you offer free voicemail, caller ID, call forwarding, etc.?
Yes! All plans include voicemail, caller ID, call forwarding, conferencing, and call waiting.
Can I keep my phone number?
We sure hope so! You will first need to check with your current carrier to see if your phone number is eligible to move ('port') to PureTalk. Your carrier can also unlock your device as long as it is not tied to an existing contract or payment plan. Your current service provider will need to give you your account number and PIN/password, or you may be able to get these details through your online account or an old bill statement. Once you have confirmed that your number is eligible to move, you can start the transfer process through our online activation process.
How do I swap my number between phones?
It's simple! Simply remove your SIM card from your existing phone and place it into the new one.
Can I block unwanted calls and texts from specific phone numbers?
PureTalk does not have the capability to block calls and texts from specific numbers. However, you may be able to do this in the settings of your device. There are also apps available that can automatically block calls from telemarketers, etc.
Can I bring my own phone?
Yes, just make sure it's a compatible unlocked GSM phone.
