If you are having issue with your data (accessing internet, sending picture messages), we can help!

You most likely need to update your APN settings to work with our network.

Follow these step-by-step instructions and your data should be up and running in a few minutes!


For Android Phones

  1. In Settings, look under Wireless & Networks or tap the Connections tab.
  2. Tap Mobile network. You may need to select More settings, More..., or More networks first.
  3. Tap Access Point Names.
  4. Touch the three vertical dots and select Reset to Default. If not, press the Menu key or "+" and touch New APN.
  5. Verify these are the APN settings in your phone. If not, update accordingly:
    Profile Name: PureTalk
    APN: RESELLER (note: must be all CAPS)
    MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
    MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
    MMS Port: 80
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 410 (280 if your SIM starts with 8901280)
    Authentication Type: None
    APN protocol: IPV4
    APN Type: default,mms,supl (no spaces between each type)
  6. Press the Menu key and tap Save.
  7. Verify that the circle next to the APN is filled in or selected.
  8. Perform a soft reset. Hold down the power button until the device turns off and restarts.
  9. Let's make sure your data is working now. First, confirm Wi-Fi is turned off. Then, open up the Internet on your phone and visit any website. The webpage should load.
  10. If you're still having data issues, contact Tech Support at 1-800-768-4360.

For iPhones

These settings are automatically set to the correct values when PureTalk SIM cards are inserted and cannot be changed. You can reset your network settings to make sure they are correct.

  1. From the Home Screen, tap Settings > General > Reset.
  2. Tap Reset Network Settings
  3. Type in the device password if prompted.
  4. Confirm selection.
