FAQs

International Roaming allows you to use your mobile service to make calls, send SMS messages, and use data while traveling outside of the United States. If you're travelling internationally, your PureTalk service will work in countless countries. Many of our plans already include some International Roaming credit at no additional charge.

If you need to purchase International Roaming credits, you can do so by logging into the Account Portal and visiting the "Add-ons" tab. International Roaming Credits are available for one-time purchase or monthly recurring. Any remaining International Roaming credits from your plan will not carry over to the next billing cycle or recharge period. When using International Roaming, you may only call the country you are currently in or you may call back to the United States. Make sure roaming is enabled on your phone in your device's settings and restart your device to activate it. If you still have trouble, contact our Technical Support department at (877) 820-7873 or dial 611 from your PureTalk phone for assistance. International Roaming credit included with your plan is available right away. If your plan does not include International Roaming credit, or if you expect limited Wi-Fi access while abroad, you may need to purchase additional International Roaming credit. You can purchase more by logging in to your Account Portal and clicking on the "Add-ons" tab, or by calling in to speak with Customer Support by dialing 611 from your PureTalk phone or by calling (877) 820-7873. Yes! You can use your PureTalk eSIM for roaming when travelling internationally to countries supporting roaming.
