International Roaming

International Roaming

International Roaming allows you to use your mobile service to make calls, send SMS messages, and use data while traveling outside of the United States. If you're travelling internationally your PureTalk service will work in countless countries.

Some of our plans even include International Roaming credits. To learn more about the International rates for the your destination and the International Roaming credits on your plan, visit our International Roaming page.

If you need to purchase International Roaming credits, you can do so by logging in to your Account Portal and visiting the Add-Ons tab. International Roaming credits are available as a one-time or monthly recurring purchase. Any remaining International Roaming credits from your plan will not carry over to the next billing cycle or recharge period.

To call a local number in the country you are visiting using your PureTalk service, dial 011 followed by the country code, city code, and the number (for example, to call Ireland, dial 011 49 69 555555).

To call the US, Canada, Bermuda, Guam, the Virgin Islands, and other Caribbean destinations, dial 1, followed by the area code and the number (for example, 1-555-123-4567).

  • $44.99 plan includes $20.00 international roaming credits

  • $54.99 plan includes $30.00 international roaming credits

  • $64.99 plan includes $40.00 international roaming credits

Any remaining International Roaming credits from your plan will not carry over to the next billing cycle or recharge period.

The International Roaming add-on provides credit for using your PureTalk service while traveling in supported international destinations. You can make a one-time purchase or choose a recurring option to add credit automatically each monthly plan cycle.

You can purchase International Roaming credit through your Account Portal. You may also call in to speak with Customer Support by dialing 611 from your PureTalk phone or calling (877) 820-7873 directly.

Before traveling, log in to your Account Portal and check your available International Roaming credit. Any available credit can be used immediately.

If you expect to use your PureTalk service while not connected to Wi-Fi or need more credit, select Add-Ons in your Account Portal to purchase additional International Roaming credit. You can also call Customer Support at 611 from your PureTalk phone or (877) 820-7873.

Log in to your Account Portal to view your available International Roaming credit. To purchase additional credit, select Add-Ons.

Unfortunately, you can only use the service within the country you are traveling to. For example, if you are traveling to London you cannot call Germany.

Try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Open your device settings and make sure roaming is enabled.

  2. Restart your device to apply the setting.

  3. Log in to your Account Portal and check your available International Roaming credit.

  4. If you need more credit, select Add-Ons to purchase additional International Roaming credit.
