PureTalk Cancellation and Device Return Policy

Device Return Policy/Accessory Return Policy

To be eligible for return, devices and accessories must have been purchased directly from the PureTalk website or a Customer Service Representative.

Customers have 30 days from receipt of the device or accessory to contact Customer Service at, 1-877-820-7873, to obtain a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), if PureTalk deems that an RMA is appropriate.

If PureTalk issues an RMA, the device or accessory must be postmarked within 30 days from receipt of the device or accessory to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be granted or returns accepted after 30 days from customer receipt. PureTalk is not responsible for lost or mishandled returns. We recommend that you use a shipping service that provides you with a tracking number. Except as expressly provided below, return shipments will be mailed back at the customers' expense. Any returns shipped with "postage due" will be refused and returned to sender.

Devices Only. Device must be returned in its original package with all original components including but not limited to: handset, box, charger, battery, battery cover, manuals, and accessories undamaged and in like-new condition. All items must be free from cracks, scratches, liquid or other damage, free from engravings or items fastened that alter the original out of box appearance. Devices that are returned to us with damage will not receive a refund and will be shipped back to the customer.

Prior to returning your device, all personal data should be erased and all security features should be disabled or removed. Activation locks must be disabled (ie: Find My iPhone and Android's Find My Device). If you attempt to return a device with the locks in place your return will not be accepted. Please refer to your device manual for instructions.

PureTalk does not exchange devices. If an exchange is necessary, you must follow the instructions for returning the handset and purchase a new one. SIM cards are not eligible for returns and/or refunds.

Accessories Only. The accessories PureTalk offers are used with or in conjunction with a customer's device or tablet.

The following additional terms apply if a customer receives damaged or defective accessories or wants to return an accessory to PureTalk for any reason:

  • If a customer believes he or she has received a defective or damaged accessory, or if a customer wants to return an accessory after having received it for any reason, the Customer must contact PureTalk at 1-877-820-7873 or [email protected] to obtain an RMA, if PureTalk determines an RMA is appropriate.
  • If PureTalk agrees that the customer has received a defective or damaged accessory, the customer does not need to return such accessory to PureTalk; the customer should simply dispose of it responsibly.
  • If a customer wants to return the accessory because the customer no longer wants it or for any other "buyers' remorse", the customer will be required to return the accessory to PureTalk at their expense.
  • There may be other circumstances as well, depending on the reason for the return, that a customer will be required to return the accessory to PureTalk at the customer's expense.
  • Accessories with an RMA must be returned in the original package with all original components, undamaged and in like-new condition. All items must be free from cracks, scratches, liquid or other damage, free from engravings or items fastened that alter the original out of box appearance. Accessories that are returned to us with damage will not receive a refund.
