PureTalk’s pro-veteran efforts continue in March when brand ambassador and Medal of Honor recipient Clint Romesha accompanies veterans on the Middle Georgia Honor Flight to Washington DC to honor their service.

About Middle Georgia Honor Flight

Middle Georgia Honor Flight's mission is “to enable United States veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam era wars - as well as any terminally ill veteran - to visit the memorials of armed conflict in Washington DC - at no cost to the veterans.”

Become a Guardian

Guardians stand as vital pillars of support for the Middle Georgia Honor Flight, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and creating lasting memories for every veteran on their journey.

Assigned to a single veteran, a Guardian's responsibilities span from accompanying them to and from the airport, guiding them through the tour of Washington DC, sharing a seat on the charter bus, to dining together at various stops.

Their dedication and presence make the entire experience not only secure but also profoundly meaningful.

Whether you are aged 18-60, in good health, and driven by the desire to positively impact the lives of those who have served our nation, or if you are a child or grandchild of a veteran eager to forge lasting memories, the role of a Guardian welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and motivations.

This responsibility holds immeasurable value to both the Middle Georgia Honor Flight and the veterans they serve, turning each trip into a cherished and impactful experience.

The Honor Flight Network

The Middle Georgia Honor Flight is one of many such groups in the Honor Flight Network. In 2023, the Network served 22,244 Veterans and 17, 444 Guardians served, for a total of 217,654 Guardian-served Veterans since 2005.
