Deeds Not Words
At PureTalk, we believe supporting the men and women who served this country shouldn't stop at words. That's the idea behind Deeds Not Words, our ongoing partnership with America's Warrior Partnership (AWP) built to help veterans before challenges become crises.
Who Is America's Warrior Partnership?
America's Warrior Partnership is a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering veterans, strengthening communities, and improving and saving lives. Rather than waiting for a crisis to happen, AWP works year-round to connect veterans and their families with the resources they need before things reach a breaking point.
AWP does this through the AWP Network, a nationwide coordination system that links local veteran-service organizations to national resources, funding, and expertise. With thousands of partner organizations working together across the country, the Network helps ensure that no veteran falls through the cracks simply because the right help wasn't nearby or didn't know how to find them.
What Is Deeds Not Words?
Deeds Not Words is the name of PureTalk's ongoing commitment within the AWP Network. When a veteran reaches out to AWP in a moment of need, whether it's a past-due rent payment, a medical bill, a broken-down car, or another unexpected hardship, AWP's caseworkers get to work identifying the right kind of support.
That's where PureTalk comes in. Through Deeds Not Words, PureTalk helps fund the assistance AWP provides, turning a veteran's call for help into real, immediate action. It might mean covering a mortgage payment to keep a family in their home, funding car repairs so a veteran can get back to work, or resolving overdue rent so a family isn't at risk of losing their housing. Whatever the need, the goal is the same: give veterans a path back to stability, dignity, and hope.
Real Stories, Real Impact
